Noelle, Operational Excellence, Nestlé UK
I always knew I wanted to work in manufacturing; working with huge pieces of machinery was just something that really appealed to me. The Operational Excellence graduate role at Nestlé combined my ambition to succeed with the chance to do something I enjoy - giving me a job that I really love.
So what do I do? Operational Excellence is a group function that gives support to all factories in the UK. This can involve completing projects to solve major production issues, helping others to understand new initiatives or even implementing new systems across the country. The great thing about this role is the day-to-day variation in what I do, and the responsibility I was given right from the very start.
I have loved my time so far with Nestlé, and would recommend anyone who enjoys a challenge to apply. The support I have received and opportunities I have been given have been fantastic, and if you want to really progress in an encouraging and friendly organisation, Nestlé could be for you.
Noelle graduated from The University of Manchester with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
