so we hope that you’ll relish the opportunity to show us what you’re made of.

The entire application process for our Graduate, Internship and Industrial Placement opportunities is online and very straightforward:

  • Click ‘Apply’ for the programme you feel is best suited to you
  • You will be asked to register your personal details
  • Submit your CV
  • Complete our 10-15 assessment questions, which are not timed but must be completed in one session – this takes approximately 30-40 minutes and you cannot save and return between questions. (Please ensure you check your responses for spelling and grammar as you go along before final submission.)
  • Once you’ve submitted your application, it will be personally reviewed by our Graduate Resourcing team. We review applications on an ongoing basis and expect to get back to you no longer than two weeks after you’ve made your initial application.
  • If you are shortlisted to the next stage we will invite you to complete our online psychometric tests.  To help prepare for the test read our additional hints and tips.

Please note that all candidates invited to a Selection Event will be re-tested to verify their test results.

  • Your application and test results are then reviewed by our line managers to produce a shortlist of candidates who’ll be invited to one of our Selection Events.

Selection Events

Please note that if you are invited to a Selection Event – and after the first day are shortlisted for the final stage of the assessment process the following morning – you will be required to stay overnight. Therefore you will need to bring belongings to cover you in this eventuality. The aim of this one visit approach is to minimise the amount of travel and disruption to your studies. If unsuccessful after the first day, you will be given immediate one-to-one feedback before you return home. No overnight stay will be required.

PM – 1st STAGE (usually commencing at 12 noon until approx. 17.30)

The assessment would include:

  • Competency-Based Interview
  • Group Exercise
  • All candidates are re-tested (pencil and paper-based psychometric test)

Shortlisted candidates go for dinner and stay overnight with recent graduates and assessors – something that’ll help you get to know us and more about what it’s like to work for Nestlé. Unsuccessful candidates are given immediate one-to-one feedback prior to returning home.

AM – FINAL STAGE  (usually commencing at 9am until approx. 12.30)

The assessment would include:

  • Group Exercise
  • Decision-Making Exercise
  • Presentation/Case Study Exercise
  • Interview with Senior Level Management

If you’re successful, we will make you an offer and send you an initial contract of employment for the Graduate Programme. To aid your development, we go to great lengths to ensure that the right projects/opportunities are selected for you. As a result you will be informed about the location of your first placement nearer your start date.

If you are unsuccessful after Day 2 of the Selection Event, we will call to give you detailed feedback.
