Graduate Sales Jobs
Sales come that bit easier when you're selling the world's favourite products. There's nothing like the thrill of delivering outstanding results and really making a difference for all to see. And then there's the pride you feel working with brands like Kit Kat, Nescafé and Felix. Apply for our Sales Graduate Jobs.
All this gets our Sales graduates out of bed in the morning. As part of the Field Sales team for your first 12 months on the graduate programme, you will be responsible for putting yourself out there, making sure our products hit the shelves with maximum visibility for consumers across the country.
A large part of Nestlé's success is down to the way we work with our customers. When we say 'customers', we mean retail, convenience stores, cash & carry outlets, delivered wholesalers and end user customers, such as The O2 or Merlin Group, nationwide – from the largest supermarket to the smallest convenience store, or from Vue cinemas to 3663 commercial catering depots. And it's worth remembering that the strength of our brands means we're often one of their biggest suppliers, filling many of the shelves to satisfy their shoppers' needs.
That's not down to the 'hard sell' – it's about developing long-term relationships and a genuine rapport with our contacts, thereby gaining their trust. From something as simple as erecting a new display stand to delivering a new product launch, this role is all about fulfilling the individual needs of our customers. In Sales, you really get to see the results of your work. Every time you influence the customer, you deliver both for the company and for yourself – resulting in a real sense of achievement.
Whether you end up in our retail business, or our food service business. you'll kick things off by spending around six months in a Field Sales role learning how to sell and understanding the systems and processes, followed by 12-18 months in one of our Customer Business teams looking after key accounts or within an End-User sales team. After this, you'll either move into a more senior Customer Business Manager role, or into our Channel Category Sales Development team. This is a strategic function which includes input from Marketing and Finance, who work together across a product area or channel.
