Graduate Engineering Jobs
Engineering Graduate Jobs with Nestlé means working with some of the most advanced processing technologies available – and applying your expertise to give us the competitive edge. We take high-calibre graduates and develop them for future leadership roles.
In your first two years you'll work at factories across the UK. You'll apply your skills within teams responsible for a variety of areas such as asset maintenance and reliability, or the optimisation of infrastructure and services. By applying for our Graduate mechanical engineering Jobs, Chemical engineering jobs or Electrical engineering jobs, you could find yourself involved in any of the following challenges:
- Working in multi-disciplinary project teams commissioning new plants or technologies
- Improving the equipment and processes involved in making chocolate or coffee, or finding ways to reduce energy and waste within our operations. You will quickly learn to deal with complex issues influencing how we manufacture current and future products.
- Ensuring our assets perform efficiently and safely. This will involve making crucial decisions on a daily basis. You could even find yourself involved in a major TPM (Total Performance Management) implementation.
- Managing the electrical infrastructure, or installing new automation & process control systems. Projects range from designing the electrical supply network and automating high-speed lines through to controlling robots and even developing information systems.
Our graduates typically experience 2 placements of about 12 months duration located in any of our 7 factories in the UK. These placements will bring you face-to-face with a results-focused culture in which creativity, initiative and the dedication to succeed are highly valued. We'll encourage you to develop your skills and career through different engineering positions within our factories – opening up possibilities for you to become an Engineering Manager or even to branch out into a broader production & technical role.
Motivation to drive continuous improvement within our factories, along with strong people and communication skills, is key to being successful as an engineering graduate at Nestlé. If you have an enthusiastic, can-do approach, a professional attitude and are willing to work in different locations – possibly even abroad – then we can give you the work and training you need to become a highly respected chartered engineer.
