To stand out over other candidates it's therefore essential that you come well prepared and do your research on Nestlé before attending one of our assessment centres to ensure that you can communicate why you are passionate about joining us.

Here are some suggested reading areas:

Corporate Social Responsibility

At Nestlé we believe that, to enhance and protect our business, we must safeguard the wellbeing and future of the people who farm and supply our raw materials, work in our offices and factories and sell our products as well as our consumers. We need to do our best to ensure that the communities that support our people also thrive and that we protect the planet and its resources for future generations.

The Cocoa Plan

As one of the world's biggest chocolate producers, operating in over 32 countries around the world, it has always been important for us to help tackle the many challenges facing the cocoa industry.

In September 2009 we launched the Nestlé Cocoa Plan which brings together all of our activities to promote sustainable cocoa supply under one banner. Over the next ten years we will invest CHF 110 million in plant science and sustainability initiatives.

Nestlé and Infant Formula

At Nestlé, we firmly believe that breast–feeding is the best way to feed a baby and we are strongly committed to the protection and promotion of breast–feeding. When mothers cannot, or choose not to, breast–feed, infant formula is the only product recognised by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as a suitable alternative.

Locations

It is absolutely essential that you’re geographically mobile throughout the UK as, for nearly all our programmes, you will change location on at least one occasion (often more frequently). You must have the flexibility to do this. If you wish to be based in a particular part of the country for personal reasons, then the Nestlé graduate programme probably isn’t the programme for you.
