Many of our careers offer high levels of international exposure as a core element reflecting our global outlook. We also offer many employees the chance to participate in our international work programmes, with Nestlé in the UK and Ireland currently ranked as the second biggest exporter of talent to Nestlé globally.
There are a number of programmes available. The shortest is the International Project, which consists of a 12 week stint introducing you to another market and style of working, addressing key business challenges and sharing knowledge across different markets. A longer option is the Nestlé Mission, in which you'll spend around 12 months in another country, learning from and contributing to major projects. Finally, the most involved option is the Full Expatriate Assignment, in which you'll spend anywhere between 3 and 5 years in one of our overseas offices.
However long you choose to work overseas for Nestlé, you can rest assured that your assignment will form part of a structured career plan and that you'll benefit from the comprehensive range of support packages available to our employees and their families. Of course, you'll have a real job of work to do and we'll expect you to perform.
