We won’t just support you towards an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering with the possibility of further study – we’ll also prepare you for a fulfilling career at Nestlé’s York factory. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn £13,493 whilst you learn.

What’s the selection process? (Hints and tips on how to prepare)
- Open Event - Once you have submitted an application for our York Modern Apprenticeship in Engineering, you may be invited to attend an Open Event where further information will be provided about the programme – this Event is by invitation only. At the Open event you will be asked to complete Psychometric Aptitude Tests (pencil/paper-based tests) to ensure you meet the college course requirements for the Apprenticeship.
- Interview – One-to-one with someone from the area of Nestlé you would be joining. The interview would include a combination of motivational and competency-based interview questions.
- Group Exercise – Problem Solving Exercise with four or five other candidates. The Group Exercise will allow us to assess your team working, problem solving and communication skills.
