Nestlé needs YOUth
Investing in the next generation of talented, young people
Nestlé announced the launch of the Youth Employment Initiative in 2013 across Europe that will create 20,000 new opportunities for people under 30 by 2016.
In the UK, we are contributing to this through the Nestlé Academy. It's an ambitious goal that could transform your career prospects. Put simply, it means we have more Graduate Programmes, sponsored degrees, Internships, Placements and Apprenticeships than ever before.
Delve into this section to discover more about our Youth Initiative. To find out which route into Nestlé's Academy is right for you, we suggest exploring the rest of the site. It's packed with the information you need to get your career off to the best possible start.
What is Nestlé's Youth Initiative?
Nestlé's European Youth Employment Initiative is committed to helping 20,000 people under the age of 30 find employment by 2016. In the UK and Ireland, as part of that initiative, we're creating some 1,900 opportunities, Placements, Apprenticeships and traineeships over the next three years.
To succeed in an industry as fast-moving and vibrant as ours, we need to attract a new generation of young, talented people. This exciting new initiative, which builds on the success of the Nestlé Academy, is designed to help us do just that.
The Nestlé Academy
Want to join our Academy? There are four routes into the Nestlé Academy. Select the different options and see which is right for you.
If you've just left or are about to leave school, our three-year Fast Start programme offers an interesting alternative to a traditional degree. One that gives you the chance to study for a BA (Hons) in Professional Business Practice at Sheffield Hallam, while gaining practical experience in a global business.
If you've finished school and you're not convinced that university is the right choice for you, a Nestlé Apprenticeship could well be the answer.
If you're currently studying for a degree, we offer two quite different Placement opportunities. Both of which will give you real-world business experience and help you develop the skills you need to launch a successful career in the food and drink industry.
With various different programmes to choose from and a wide range of international opportunities to explore, our graduate opportunities extend to practically every area of the business.
We know the future success of our business will be defined by the next generation. So even if none of the above options seems right for you at the moment, we're here to answer your questions and we'd love to tell you about any other work opportunities that are coming up.
